Kirkwood Partners with TWAS to Craft the World’s First Luxury Edition of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
Kirkwood is proud to announce its central role in bringing to life the Gallery Edition of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas — the first-ever true luxury edition of the iconic 1823 poem, produced in collaboration with San Diego-based luxury studio TWAS.

Kirkwood’s Craig Wenrich served as the production cornerstone, guiding an exhaustive research-and-development phase that spanned nearly 24 months. The team explored every conceivable material and technique — printing on metal, specialty plastics, and even 3D-printed substrates — producing dozens of prototypes until the perfect harmony of durability, elegance, and pure holiday magic was achieved.
Crafting a Version More Magical Than Any That Have Come Before
Limited to an exclusive run of just 200 hand-signed and numbered copies worldwide, this breathtaking collectible transforms Clement Clarke Moore’s timeless verses into a museum-quality work of art. Each copy is illuminated by the original illustrations of internationally celebrated artist Evgeniya Golik, with supporting artwork by Olga Tenyakova, and elevated through the masterful application of radiant gold and silver foils, flawless metallic inks, 18-karat hand-gilded edges, and a custom presentation box that is itself a work of art.

Emily Walton, Chief Creative Officer of TWAS and the driving force behind the project, drew inspiration from her own family’s cherished tradition of reading the poem together every Christmas Eve. “We wanted to craft a version more magical than any that has come before — one that inspires new generations to gather, read aloud, and make memories,” Walton shared. “Seeing it come to life with Kirkwood’s extraordinary craftsmanship has been nothing short of miraculous.”
After the sheets leave Kirkwood’s presses — where every foil stamp and color registration is executed to perfection — each book travels to Bassil Bookbinding for meticulous hand-binding and final assembly. The result is a volume that is as satisfying to hold and display as it is to read.
Future editions are already in development, with plans for bespoke covers incorporating original artwork and potential collaborations with certified Swarovski artisans for crystal embellishments — further proof that this project marks only the beginning of TWAS and Kirkwood’s shared ambition to redefine luxury holiday collectibles.
