A Legacy Bound in Luxury: The Ocean Club in Print
When a property holds the kind of legacy that The Ocean Club in Paradise Island, Bahamas does, it deserves something extraordinary—something beyond the typical luxury brochure. That’s exactly what KEVO STUDIO set out to create with the Ocean Club Book: a 210-page hardcover tome that doesn’t just showcase the residences—it transports you to them.
At 9.5 x 12 inches, this Smyth-sewn volume is meticulously crafted, wrapped in Talas Cialinen Bookcloth (2040 Bisque) and mounted to a substantial 88pt board. Subtle elegance defines its cover, where a custom deboss with transparent pearl foil glistens like sunlight on the Bahamian sea. Open it, and you’re greeted with watercolor end leaves printed on Mohawk Flex Felt Cool White 80C, a curated celebration of local flora, fauna, and Bahamian culture.
Kerissa Voldeck, founder and executive creative director of her namesake studio, brings a refined design sensibility to every project she leads. Voldeck’s team’s vision was rooted in intentional restraint. “When you work with properties near the ocean, it’s very easy to lean into turquoise and blues. But we wanted to create something sophisticated—something that could live on any coffee table, in any room,” she explains.
Rather than relying on traditional color palettes, the design team flipped the script. They used a neutral exterior to let the vibrant imagery and custom watercolors throughout the book burst with unexpected joy. This contrast evokes the elegance of British colonial design while making space for the region’s exuberance. The result is a piece that feels both timeless and deeply place-specific.
The production details are just as impressive. The text pages (printed 6/6 on 65# Mohawk Superfine Eggshell Ultra White cover stock) allow every image and illustration to sing with clarity and warmth. “Superfine is a paper you choose when you want the tactile experience to match the visual storytelling,” says Amy Lowe, Business Development Representative from Mohawk Paper. “It’s refined, substantial, and quietly luxurious—perfect for a project like this.”
Inside, readers will discover a pink ribbon marker—Offray Berwick in Pink Sand—and page after page of immersive content that artfully balances CG renders, photography, and bespoke watercolor illustrations. The project came together over time, with production unfolding across seasons. It was a labor of love—and of legacy.
Voldeck, whose career spans collaborations with leading development, sales, investment, and brand partners, knew this book had to inspire action. “We’re asking people to believe in something that doesn’t exist yet. And when someone says, ‘I’ve already called sales—I need to know more,’ you know the design worked,” she explains. Drawing on years of experience consulting and leading her own studio, Voldeck has honed the ability to strike the perfect balance between beautiful design and business-driving results.
And it has. The response has been overwhelming, not just from real estate professionals, but from everyone who’s seen it. The Ocean Club Book has become a showpiece—one that honors the property’s glamorous past, from James Bond films to Slim Aarons photoshoots, while boldly inviting readers into its future.
Set amid Versailles-inspired gardens and the quiet majesty of a 12th-century French cloister, The Ocean Club is more than a destination—it’s a place where history, art, and island beauty converge. The book is a tribute to that rare elegance, offering a glimpse into a world where every detail whispers of legacy, and every page invites you to linger a little longer.
The Four Seasons book was not only a labor of love—it was a piece that resonated far beyond its pages. We’re proud to share that Kēvo Studio was awarded a Gold Medal in Publication Design at the Golden Award of Montreux, an international competition based in Switzerland and running since 1989. This recognition feels especially significant as Kēvo was the only U.S. … agency honored among a global roster of winners. The 2025 jury included industry leaders from 18 countries—CEOs, top creative directors, marketing and communications executives, media designers, and academic experts. This win affirms what the Four Seasons book set out to do: deliver design that not only looks beautiful but also tells a powerful, compelling story worthy of a global audience.
For a destination like The Ocean Club, Paradise Island, only a storybook of this caliber would do.
